A Trip to the Zoo

We took a trip to the Dallas Zoo. Brooke was very excited to see all of the animals!

Brooke road the carousel this time (with Daddy of course). We'll be making more trips to the Zoo this Spring and Summer.

Kessler Easter Parade - Saturday, April 4, 2009

Brooke (almost 2), Phoebe (3) and Mary Grace(4) went to the Kessler Park Easter Parade in matching dresses. The Bishop Dunne band played and there was a guest appearance from the Easter Bunny. Brooke had nothing to do with the Bunny. She did like the band and the Easter egg hunt though. Wyatt was home taking a nap. (He'll make it next year).

Babies and Bunnies

We got up early Saturday to take Brooke and Wyatt to see the bunnies and get the "Perfect" Easter picture. Brooke was very excited and Wyatt just went along for the ride. We got them all dressed in their Easter outfits and took a number and waited in line. Brooke was very patient and watched closely as the other kids took their picture with the bunnies. Finally they called #13 and it was our turn. Brooke looked adorable in her white dress that Ahma made with an off white B in the middle. She had little white sandals, a white bow and matching purse. Her hair was curled up perfectly. She looked adorable! I hope you have the visual in your head now because there will not be a photo for you to see. Baby girl proceeded to scream when they brought the bunnies out for the picture. She was terrified.(If you remember the Santa incident it was very similar.) Wyatt was a trooper though and while he was a bit confused and dad was a little uncomfortable with all the pink and flowers we ended up with an Easter photo after all.
